[ Humbug *General* list - semi-serious discussions about Humbug and
Unix-related topics. ]

<humble>
Point taken. I should have been more concise and I guess I should be
thankful that someone is diligent enough to pick me up on this.

I thought perhaps some of you guys might have copies which you got with
new machines which you might not want etc. We (my employers) need these
for second hand machines which came with no software licenses and need
them since it is a business.

I am an unqualified person with a couple of years desktop linux experience
(no server experience apart from samba and apache and its pretty easy with
Redhat) who is living and working with my new employers who need me to
maintain a windows lan (amongst other things) with internet connectivity
for very low cost, hence no NT.

I am more or less working for food and board.

By the way I appreciate all help which members of this list have given
concerning IP MASQ and intend to make available a howto type document
for other newbies having similar problems in this area.

Its not that unix isn't user friendly,
its just more picky about who its friends are.
