Could someone who has Linux and Solaris please describe the fstab settings
to mount solaris in Linux.
I have Linux Red Hat 6.0 with solaris 7 x86 . Solaris is on hda4 but I do
not see this partition broken into slices in dmesg or solaris mentioned.
I am using kernel 2.2.12 with ufs and solaris x86 partition type configured
into the kernel.
FreeBSD mounts OK with ufstype=44bsd but any attempt to mount hda4 results
in " bad superblock " message.
There is no possibility to mount any of the slices of solaris which my
kernel cannot see. Why is this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Brian.
