Only useful if one has DOS installed ;) probably a PnP issue, if that's
the case. Although a PCI ``PnP'' card shouldn't ever have issues.

126, eh. I believe you just pass an argument to the kernel at boot time,
"mem=126M" or similar.
loadlin or lilo will pass arguments.
