my distribuitions (OLX 2.2N) and RH6.0 do _not_ support AGP particularly S3
Trio 3D (which is I suspect your 8 meg card). They mistake it for a much earlier
beast. It's not so much the AGP aspect, but the chip that causes the trouble.
AGP itself is transparent to Linux there's no special drivers for it, it's
treated as pci.

I think the latest XFreeX86_SVGA server _does_ support this card (available
via ftp) and am almost certain the ????_S3 version does not, coz i tried it!
