As I understand it, the PDC code in SAMBA was dodgy at best and still
won't fully replicate all the services of PDC without admin
interaction... I couldn't see it feasible to implement BDC code if the
PDC stuff is not working 100%. [1] PDC is a new thing in the
development tree (2.1?) so again I couldn't imagine BDC code being in
2.0.5
if you are mixing NT with SAMBA, may I suggest you leave the BDC to NT
and set samba as the PDC.
Of course you can make Samba look very much like a BDC or PDC by doing
things like security=server and dumping the NT SAM to a smbpasswd file
etc...
Cheers
[1] just wondering how many TLA's I can fit into one sentence ;)
