I received this email from a writer wishing to do an article on Unix.

She's happy for this email to go onto the list. If you have have any
comments, send her an email as she says time is limited (deadline is the
4/2/99 apparently).

Phone numbers and P.O. box were supplied but have been deleted as this is
a public access list.

In another email Lea said she is primarily interested in native (not
emulated) apps.
Cheers,
	-Robert

Subject: Press article on UNIX vertical applications

Hi Robert

I'm a freelancer writing a feature article for an upcoming supplement on
UNIX, to be published with Australian Communications and Systems
magazines.

I'm interested in finding out about the cool, interesting and (dare I say
it?) quirky vertical apps popping up in UNIX these days. We want to get
away from trad banking/finance and telco apps and more into the technology
that would surprise non-UNIXers if they knew it was UNIX running beneath
hood.

I have a fairly short deadline and would need to speak with someone (phone
or email) in the next couple of days. I hope you or one of your HUMBUG
colleagues might be able to help.

Thanks
Lea Eldridge
