I'm a redhat person currently but have been looking at Debian recently
since I've had hassles with redhat6 and apparently 6.1 is so buggy it
could be a M$ product.

There's a script or something which converts debs to rpms or the
other way isn't there?

Either way I'd be interested in that package you mentioned. Was this
with the hardware you get from telstra?

Actually Telstra's prices just dropped a bit since Optus's plans were
announced and the boss looked at the prices and said it looked okay
compared to what we are getting now and what it is costing us.
