[H-GEN] samba and NT SP5

Actually I just found out why at Dejanews.  From Service pack 3 onwards NT does
not allow unencrypted passwords to be sent down the line.

Anyone know how to enable samba to support encrypted password authentication?
It's either that or a registry hack to allow NT to do plain passwords. I have
the hack.

PS. I sent tthe previous due to using 'servive' as a search word on dejanews
and not finding anything.
