(Note reply-to: being general at humbug.org.au vs Robert Brockway <robert at blake.humbug.org.au>)

Hi all. A few ppl already know about this after a discussion on #humbug.
I discovered this at humbug last night by accident...

nf is the Norfolk Islands top level domain (TLD), btw.

blake[2:39am]:~>nslookup nf
Server: blake.oc.humbug.org.au
Address: 203.46.133.200

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: nf
Address: 203.12.249.101

Interest eh? nf is a host. But wait, there's more...

blake[2:40am]:~>traceroute nf
traceroute to nf (203.12.249.101), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets

What is wrong with this picture?

Hop 7 contains a private IP. I had various ppl around the world check
this via #linpeople, and it is apparently visible world wide.

Interesting eh?
Cheers,
	-Robert
