Have you got mscdex.exe in the path (if for DOS)?
What is your HDD configuration (How many on what?)
Have you got the IDE cable in the correct way?
Sorry but I am like Luke usually its the silly things that cause this.
Is the board's I/O working ?
Does the Autodetect on the bios pick up all HDD's?
