[H-GEN] Must set CLX_STYLE??

hi,

I've been trying to install innd v2.1 on a machine with Linux 2.0.29 on
it.  The include files dir seems complete, yet the ./configure script
returns 'must set CLX_STYLE' when checking for close on exec.

Has anyone had this problem before who can explain what libraries or
header files are missing, or what else is causing this error?
