I can speak for my USR Courier V.Everything, flashed with the v.90 code. Works
like a dream. Very stable, the modem has never done anything that'd I'd
consider stupid. Wonderfully configurable, and fast. From previous experience,
connecting at 51.2kbps, even 52kbps and holding for a few hours isn't at all a
problem. It retrains well.

If you're willing to spend the money, go the Couier... best $250 I've spent on
a modem (with the exception of a Intel SatisFAXtion 14400 quite a long time
ago... another story :).
