[H-GEN] vppp bug fix

Hi all.  Recently I have been experiencing a weird problem with vppp.  It
would simply not talk to the modem while minicom would work just fine.  I
played around for a bit and found I could overcome the problem by talking
to the cua device instead of the equivalent ttyS device.  Since using cua
devices is not recomended it is possible I have stumbled across a
previously unknown bug in the serial driver (it may be recent in origin).

At least one other humbugger is experiencing the same problem.  I
recommend changing ttyS? to cua? and seeing how it goes.  I am interrested
in any feedback on this issue.
