I think this is a very good idea (and getting the club's name into a
newspaper probably wouldn't hurt membership, either).

Now then...to the tricky problem of *what* to install.  What I'd like to
see is an example of some of the major Free Unixes[1] at the front of
the room: A Linux box (one RH, one Debian); A FreeBSD box and a NetBSD
box would cover most of it, and if anyone has another Free Unix, then
power to them.  :)

[1] : [2]We're hardly going to be installing Solaris or Ultrix now,
      are we?  :)
[2] : Taking Robert's lead wrt footnoting.

Personally, I'd like to be able to point at something and say "Oh,
that's running foo" so that people who come along with NFI of what
they're after can make something approaching a reasoned decision.
