Boo!
erm. Okay, so I'm tired, and this who statement will probably be
meaningless.
In this whole chat about the club reshuffle, someone earlier (I think it
was David in his amendments proposal) brought up the point of a Freedom of
Information <thingy> in the constitution. I was just wondering if this
would be going in. I was talking with <some> of the exec on #humbug this
afternoon, about "err, what goes ON at exec meetings", which is a question
I'm still wondering about when rc5 isn't taking brain cycles <.0000001
crypts/day>.
Perhaps getting greater club involvement in the running of the club would
make the club better/more like a club and less like a place where we go to
score bandwidth. I'm not suggesting the majority of the club be involved
in things like "motion to book the room at uq for next week" "motion
seconded", but a general greater understanding of how the club is powered
would probably lead to more ideas for stuff we could do (as it would be
across however many people packed into a theatre) as opposed to the exec.
Failing that, freedom of information / a report posted to the website and
announce each fortnight saying whats going on at club meetings/club exec
meetings so everyone can put in their say.

If that makes sense, then it is courtesy of Nescafe. If it is a shambles,
then, ummm. okay, as curly would say, Nescafe BITES.
