Hmm, so if a hypothetical machine was being attacked from a
promiscuous Wingate host then the sysadmin might be justified in doing
a DoS on that machine if all other measures failed?  I'm inclined to
think they might at least be ethically justified, if not legally.

A little further along lies trying to crash spammer's systems, which
is probably over the line.  But presumably there's a line there
somewhere.
