Subject: Linux supported hardware
Mr Muys,
My name is Rob Hansen and I am writing from a small company in
Canada which makes a piece of Linux supported hardware. I would
like to start off by saying that, yes, I recognize that this is
commercial promotion, however, you may find it very interesting.
LCDproc is a small piece of software that uses your Linux box to
display live system information on a 20 character by 4 line backlit
LCD display. You can find much more information about the
software at:
http://lcdproc.omnipotent.net/
My company makes the display module which installs into your
machine. The module can display system loading statistics,
connected users, open FTP ports and many other useful statistics.
You may find more information about us and the displays modules
at:
Matrix Orbital Corp:
http://www.matrix-orbital.com
In the interest of helping to make Linux the greatest OS on Earth
(and promoting my sales), I would like to offer you and Hambug the
following offer.
If there are four members in Hambug who are interested in
purchasing display modules, we will provide, at no charge, a fifth
module for your group's server (or your home machine if more
appropriate). Shipping is not included.
I hope that you will make this information available to your group
and I am sure that you will enjoy using LCDproc and Matrix Orbital
Modules!
Sincerely,
Rob Hansen
