One major problem with this is that he claims to be using tared and
gzipped programmes not rpm's. Perhaps if he thinks he is using those
packages and actually has rpm's then they will not be installed
properly.

Don't know what the current Infomagic disk has on it but an old one of
mine has RPMS not tar and gzipped. Maybe this is the problem.

Second major problem is that he seems to be seeking xemacs (sorry for
the GUI heresy).
