It was the RAM.  Swapped it out with some spare RAM and voila!!
I would have done this last night except that I had misplaced
the spare RAM.  I had to wait until morning and ask my wife
where she had "hidden" it.  ;-P

Daffy will be pleased to route at the next HUMBUG.  :-)
