A cow-orker turned on "C2" mode on his NT box, using a microsoft tool
that dives into the registry and alters a whole bunch of security settings.

Nothing worked properly thereafter; every other time he logged in he
got a permission denied reading his own user profile, and the system
created a new blank one for him. Ended up having to wipe and
reinstall the system.
