If there is a NIS server available for NT you might be able to get away with
it. I think there may be problems with getting consistent passwords
accross all platforms. Off the top of my head I can't see any easy way
of getting NT to play fair.
Although when/if the samba-team get the domain authentication stuff
going there might be an option to create a PAM module that does
NT domain authentication with a PDC or BDC.
