Hey all,

I have been running a linux ip masquarading setup for a while and have had
no problems until the missus starting using
 Active Worlds browser ( www.activeworlds.com ).

I got hold of ipautofw, as I believe its the tool I need to get around the
problem of the masquarading code not accept
ing incoming connections on a prieviously unused port ( please correct me
if I are wrong ).

patching the kernel wasn't 100 % successfull ( ver 2.0.33 ) and the
complile wasn't successfull. I assume the kernel a
lready has support if I enabled ipautofw support when I made it, which i
did.

>From the support guys at active worldsre a firewall:
You need to be able to send (TCP) on ports 5670
and 7777, and receive (UDP) on port 3000.

i tried:
ipautofw -A -r udp 3000 3050 -c tcp 5670
ipautofw -A -r udp 3000 3050 -c tcp 7777

to no avail

any ideas ?
