Subject: comsat/biff question
Hi,
I have looked everywhere for comsat, and the only place I can find it is in
/etc/services. I get the idea that my system (RH Linux 5.1) doesn't have
it. I want to be notified when incoming mail arrives, but if I try issuing
biff y,
I get a /dev/ttyp5: Operation not permitted error.
Anyone had any experience with the comsat daemon, and the biff utility?
cheers,
Laurence
