I'm currently reviewing my use of sendmail as an MTA, and comments about
the suckiness of qmail's source not withstanding, I'm considering using
it.

The ALL-CAPS files in the source make promising remarks, and I think I
could deal with the changes to the way it's configured and run.

However, I'm hesitant.  I'd like to canvas the Collective for some
opinions on MTA's before I commit myself (I'd really like to only do
this once  :).

Now, I *know* that there are several rabid qmail and sendmail supporters
in HUMBUG, and I'm trusting that you'll succ^H^H^H^Hcome to my aid.

I'll take a few replies on this, and then move the whole thing to chat,
as I'm sure that this thread could be highly combustible.

(hmm, maybe I shouldn't be doing this over the Easter break.  Ah well.)
