[H-GEN] sparc fest

Just as a point of confirmation (probably no new info here), but it
looks like the colour monitor (yes Robert 17" colour monitor) was worth
the price of admission alone.

I acquired 2 of the machines and have had them both running linux for
sparc off the floppy [interesting the neat little penguin logo at
start-up I have not noticed that before] but again fdisk can not access
/dev/sda. What limited stuff I have been able to do off the floppy has
certainly given me some encouragement

One of the machines I let go to a Sun guru I know who is working on the
installation problems.

Has anybody tried to change the hard disk (since it's a tad on the small
size anyway). My guru says he has quite a supply of scsi disks and will
change to a larger disk and 32 or 48 Mb of memory. He is also looking at
(with the help of a techo) making the DOS cable some of you were after.
So I will keep you posted on that.

I happen to have a copy of Sun Solaris 2.6 for Sparc but need a CDROM to
install. Anyone have one I might be able to use for an hour or so at
some stage?
