[H-GEN] Mail problems.......SOLVED !!!!

Thanks to all that helped.  I finally figured it out.  Robert's suggestion 
about the asynchmap setting got me to thinking and I suddenly realised that 
I hadn't really ever looked at my modem setting since getting it all up and 
running.

Well, I am using a Dataplex DPX225-10.  Very nice modem, but the default 
settings are a little screwy.  So, I disabled Xon/Xoff flow control and 
enabled error correction and now it all seems to work ( fingers crossed, I 
just got an error RETRIEVING mail this time !).
