Are you running sendmail?
I was poking around one of the junk mail ISPs in the US trying to figure
out how to remove my name and came across quite a good bit of info on
preventing your mail server from being used to relay mail from
unauthourised addresses.
I can't verify this atm but i think it was www.iemmc.org
This is *NOT* an endorsment of those vermin who send out unsolicited junk
mail........
