Unfortunately I must agree, for a logo the flare seems a little too much.
I also think it would be really cool if he could rearrange the bubbles
into a southern cross arrangement.  (They're almost there now.)
Regardless for the work he's done so far (which is incredible) I think
he deserves lunch.  After all you pay for corperate identity _idea's_ long
before you pay for the finished product.  

BTW: If humlogo was widened, and the lettering slightly broader, and the
platypus' contrast was increased, I think we would have a very good banner
for the head of a web page.  (comments?).
