I'd have to agree here.  Logo's should normally be fairly simple and the 
flare is a little too "exotic".  Since the platypus is dark in that image 
(as opposed to humgold) then it's harder to see as well.

Southern cross?!?  That's not like any southern cross I've ever seen! 
 OTOH, re-arranging the dots (are they bubbles?) into the southern cross 
_would_ look good.
