Because of a fortuitous occurrence, I currently have a surfeit of
computers (like temporarily 5 ). So I decided on a project to try all my
Linux UNICES. The ones I have personally (all legal) are Linux, SCO and
Solaris. I want to try all common versions of Linux (ie I already have
tried Slackware and Red Hat so will try Debian) and I was wanting to
install Solaris and SCO. Linux and Solaris - not a problem. Ho, SCO !!!
bloody hell I have been trying to install it for about a week with
telephone calls and mails to MUA in Sydney and now several layers of
e-mail to a very friendly Rebecca Harris at the SCO organisation. The
installation programme recognised my CD-ROM on Primary /Slave and all my
other bits and pieces but when it came to the really important bit
..like installing ...it said I had no CD in the CD-ROM reader (we went
around the loop a few times before I gave it away).

I am still trying to get information from SCO but I have indicated that
I am losing patience with a company that has trouble writing an
installation routine when the opposition performs without a hitch.

If anyone is interested in this saga just e-mail me and I will pass on
anything I learn from the lovely Rebecca.
