Jason,

Yes you will need another serial card, One important thing to remember when
putting serial cards into any PC is to strap the IRQ lines on different
cards to different un-allocated lines.

With many multi-port cards, you CAN set multiple serial channels to the
same IRQ as the hardware buffers the seperate logic levels correctly.

One assumption here is that the OS can support multiple devices driving the
IRQ line. Can Linux 2.0.30 ???

If Linux can handle multiple devices sharing the line then a cheap 4port
card would be ideal.
