SPECIAL EVENT: Joint Brismesh/HUMBUG Activity Day (see below)

HUMBUG, the Home Unix Machine Brisbane Users Group, exists to get
fellow Unix users in contact with each other, to introduce people
to Unix and Unix-like operating systems, and to help users in
operating those systems. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Meetings tend to be informal. We socialize, discuss Unix and
computing, solve Unix problems for new and experienced users
alike, and these days have regular talks.

Date: Saturday, 1st March 2003

Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm Brismesh Routing and Antenna Workshop
        3:00pm - 1:00am Regular HUMBUG meeting

Event: Joint Brismesh/HUMBUG Activity Day

The workshop provides an opportunity for Brishmesh and
Home Unix Machine - Brisbane User Group (HUMBUG) members
to share their expertise in topics useful for setting up
a node in a Metropolitan Area Wireless Network (such as
Brismesh). The workshop will take the form of two
sessions; an antenna session and a routing session.

Attendees are encouraged to bring along their machine
(running BSD or Linux or other unix-like operating system)
or a machine on which they intend to install a unix-like
operating system in order to configure it to function as a
        wireless router.

The workshop will merge into the HUMBUG meeting from 3pm
onwards, and attendees are encouraged to stay on for this
meeting to continue to setup their router and find out more
about HUMBUG and its activities and services.
