Hi Guys,
I got the below email from ITEE. They are asking for a student representative from Humbug to attend the newly created Student Societies Council. Since non of us are students I was thinking that maybe we could ask Clarissa if she would like to be our rep.

Subject: ITEE Student Societies Council

Dear student society representatives

I'm writing to you in my capacity as Chair of the newly created Student Societies Council in the School of Information Technology & Electrical Engineering (ITEE).  The society you represent has been identified by the School as one which may be aligned with the interests of the School.  The Council is being set up as a forum in which the School can communicate with aligned student societies.  The aim is to identify opportunities where the School can support societies to conduct student activities.  The support that could be offered would be in some cases financial and in others logistical.

If you conduct activities that are of primary interest to ITEE students, and for which ITEE support would be helpful, your participation in the Student Societies Council would be most welcome.  I encourage you to nominate an ITEE student on your executive committee to be your representative on the Council.  I plan to call the first meeting in the next few weeks.

For your information, I attach the Council's charter.
