Hi,
There appears that there was some confusion about who was going to setup this weekend. Now I know it might say on the website that the person was Stephen Thomas but the reality was is that I and Mark had the gear. I know the website should have been altered to indicate that and that one of us, Mark Stephen or myself, should have done that but non of us got around to it.

The reason for taking the gear was that at the previous Humbug meeting we all were a bit tired and some of my stuff got mix up with the main gear (something that we fixed at this meeting). Also Mark wanted to work on the router. So all up it was best that both Mark and me take the gear. Now at that point something may have been said to Stephen about don't worry about this weekend. But the fact is that no one that was there can quite recall as I said we were all really tired. We however all agree that it sounds quite likely that it was said.

Okay now onto the question about how I was late and making sure it doesn't happen again. There was a few causes this weekend.

1st. I completed a service yesterday on the car as well as had the front brakes replaced. This is something that took longer than I anticipated and I don't really trust my own workmanship when it comes to cars. Heck I got an sms from Mark asking will I be there before I was able to take off.

2nd. I got involved in a conversation about LCA and the Penguin dinner. Something which I should have canned earlier.

3rd. Due to the tunnel opening traffic to Mark's place was a nightmare. I think that alone added at least 20min to the time.

Next time I'll set off at 1pm rather than the 1:30pm that I did this time and I'll also make sure that I don't hand around talking about LCA. Mark can you be ready by 2:15pm this is to allow for 30min travel, the shop stop and the food stop that you occasionally make.

The gear is now with Mark. I don't know the exact reason but it may have to do with me being late. So I have just updated the website to show this.

Matt
