Just a short note so everybody following this thread is in the picture.
The Exec had a "chat" [1] on IRC and decided the next Exec meeting will
be re-scheduled to the 6th of Feb.  The secretary has promised to get
the announcement out by the close of the regular meeting on the 9th of
Jan.

However since that is after the proposed date of the Exec meeting, I
think it would be a good idea if the secretary sent a short note to
Announce warning the Exec meeting definitely will not be held on the 9th
- just in case anybody was planning to turn up.

[1] Yes, the entire Exec was in one virtual room and yes we did make
decisions, but no it was not a meeting.  It was not a meeting because we
said it wasn't at the time.  Don't even think of arguing the point.
