Sorry about the post to the admin list. It was a reflex action
on my part. That being said I know that only the Exec and a
couple of the sys admins are on the list so it's just the people
that we do need to talk to about this are the only ones who would
be sent the email.

I, personally, think it's a very good idea. I can see how this
would benifit HUMBUG and you. I would want to know what other
members of the Exec and the Sys Admin team feel before doing it.
Since a number of us will be a the Xmas dinner tomorrow I was
going to discuss it there.

Many thanks for your thoughts and the work that you have put into
the pages. They are great.

Matt.

Thanks for the reply Matt,

I didn't want to post this type of query / request directly to one of
the lists, without running through exec group so they're aware of it;
particularly as I'm asking HUMBUG to take an active custodial interest
in the HOWTO.

I see plenty of benefit for HUMBUG if this is picked up... an active
website, printing of a mini admin book, assistive guide to hand out at
install fests, can be updated as project work by more IT uni students
(if possible), etc....

If you believe this is a worthy project, let me know and I will add it
to one of the lists for discussion.

Regards,
Miles Brennan
