Silently discard is effectively what happens, now.

But I agree.  Making it silently discard is a kludge which is likely to
confuse the next poor bugger who has to administer this system.  Just
deleting the thing is right thing to do.  It is just that is requires a
bit a research to ensure it is safe.

I just had another look at /etc/postfix/virtual/all, and now my eyes
hurt.
