These two messages (from 'conference', which is excalibur, and
'unused3', which is one of my VPSes running a clone of
excalibur) about backup failures were part of a deliberate test
to see exactly what happened if two instances were trying to
backup to S3 together.  We now know the detection of this works
and I have turned off the backups on the clone.

Any future such messages will refer to real problems, not tests.
