[H-SASIG] Bits and pieces

Just to keep you in the loop with moving the VM to Netbox blue:

1. Stephen Thorne (Jerub) should have sent you a GPG key by now, which
you will have to install in /etc/rdiff-image/gpg-keys/

2. Jerub has asked me to write a script that downloads the backup and
turns it into a bootable disk image. The bootable bit will be
interesting, as that means I have to install a kernel and a bootloader
(grub). Perhaps it would be easier if you did that now, before I
started? Even so that doesn't seem like it is going to take me too
long. I will arrange the script so it has a cache directory, so it
doesn't down the main backup if it is already in the cache. I'll let
you know when Jerub has it.

3. I presume we will have a trial run. Ie, Jerub will install the
thing, and you SysAdmin guys will verify it all works.

4. Then the frightening bit - switchover. I imagine I won't be in the
country when that happens. However, if the caching thingy above works
as expected, it should take stuff all time to get the latest VM backup
rdiff, and produce an image, and make it live.

PS. I sent an email to Robert Brockway to say what is happening and try
and get his feelings on the matter. You can find it here:
