Hi Russell

As discussed at Humbug on Saturday, Homelab Brisbane is a
small group of enthusiasts interested in IT and open source
solutions that we can run on our own servers.

We have meetings in person at one of the local libraries in
Brisbane about once a month although that depends on meeting room
availability and our own schedules. We also meet on-line
approximately monthly on our own Jitsi server. Our calendar
is up to date, at least for the week or so prior to the meetings,
and it can be easily added to your own Google calendar.

However most of our activity takes place on our Discourse server.
All are welcome to any of our events but spammers get kicked off
the Discourse server and we have yet to "stress test" the Jitsi
server. 😳

Our
next meeting is scheduled for 6.00 pm on Monday, May 26 at
the Nundah Library, Community Meeting Room and James is talking
about his experiences with OpenSCAD.

Thanks again for letting us post to the Humbug mailing list. We
have used Meetup in the past to post meeting notices but I think
Meetup is better for finding a date than organising techie
meetings. 😛

I promise not to spam the Humbug list and will only post meeting
notices in the future.

Cheers.

David
