An easy option is to change the front-computer-case leads to use the
reboot button as the on-off switch button, assuming we are talking about
the low-voltage circuits to the motherboard. Means you don't have
instant reboot any-more, but achieve the same with the usually-5-sec
hold of what is now the power button.
