Hi all

I note here a rare opportunity to work in a Windows-free environment.

We're looking for a people-friendly, Ubuntu GNU/Linux and open source enthusiast, to support our developers and other staff in Australia on their laptops.
We use GNU/Linux everywhere, including for all our staff desktop environments. We don't use Windows.

So, we're thinking this is an ideal (first?) gig for someone who loves working with Linux, but doesn't really want to be a coder for a living.

This position is a full-time permanent one, and based in our awesome heritage listed 99 Creek St building in Brisbane city.
Currently, most of our people work remotely at least some of the time, however due to the nature of your work you will have to be in the office regularly (COVID developments permitting, naturally).

You will have your own responsibilities from the get-go, while working closely with our information security and system administration people.
You have the opportunity to develop further within the company, including in either of those fields.
