It also does not provide very good user interface. disappointing.


I don't think that interface has changed since it was first implemented. I
really don't
understand user interface stuff, but the voting interface seems pretty good
to me.

Software is a big, big part of the quarrels LA has, what to use, what to
write, how to keep it up
to date. At different points in time different councils have taken
different decisions along the
openness <-> easiness spectrum, and the only stuff that hasn't been a right
royal pain is the stuff
that has been completely outsourced.

At the moment I'm trying to keep the LA calendar up to date, it's using a
woefully out of date..drupal
instance. I'm struggling to figure out how to use, tweak and update it.
