This is advertising of a sort, I hope it is relevant to some members of the
list.
Firstly, a little context about myself. I was heavily involved in PLUG
(Perth Linux Users Group) until I moved to QLD a few years back. Having
moved around a lot, I had looked up HUMBUG, but not gotten involved. We
have recently settled in Brisbane for work.
This Zabbix training in Brisbane is the first time Zabbix have come to
Australia, so this is a unique opportunity to go beyond the basic
monitoring most of us have done with Zabbix, and learn how to make Zabbix
work for you. At work, we use Zabbix to monitor all our servers, and
network infrastructure, and are excited to have the opportunity to learn
more, so we can reduce notification fatigue, and have useful information
that points directly to the cause when faults do occur.
Please see
http://www.zabbix.com/files/Brochures/Zabbix_TrainingServices_web.pdf for
information about the training courses offered, as there is both a 3 day
Specialist course, and a 2 day Professional course. Please see
http://www.zabbix.com/training.php for more information and dates.
I hope some of you find the course relevant to your IT positions.
I look forward to getting involved in HUMBUG as time and family permit.
Regards
Tim
