Or, it could be click bait.  There is very little in the way of
substantive facts revealed in the story.

All we know is there is a person whose name could be twisted into
Satoshi Nakamoto, who loves privacy to the extent he encrypted his
emails but if he is the real Satoshi used a name that could be tracked
back to him, and who says did have something (unspecified) to do with
bitcoin but doesn't now.

We will see.

On an unrelated note, Bitcoin exchanges seem to be going broke at the
rate of 2 a week currently.  The last round apparently didn't bother
with ACID updates for their account balances, so they was a window
between when you spent the bitcoin and they debited your balance.  If
you were quick, you could double spend.  Almost like they all copied and
pasted the code.  Or maybe they all believed the hype and its NoSql all
the way.

You could not make this shit up.
