[H-GEN] NX replacement?

I know there are a few HUMBUGgers who are fans of NX which is annoyingly 
not properly open source. From what I've seen the open clones are quite 
inadequate too... Except.

I stumbled across X2Go (http://wiki.x2go.org/) which is built upon NX 
and also offers some enhancements along with what appears to be easy 
installation too.

It's apparently be added to the Fedora 20 repos (Oh, it's GPL2+) and it 
seems to have a scrubuntu PPA.

Has anybody used it?
