[ Humbug *General* list - semi-serious discussions about Humbug and ]
[ Unix-related topics.  Please observe the list's charter.           ]
[ Worthwhile understanding: http://www.humbug.org.au/netiquette.html ]

I'm hoping that there might be people at the meeting this
Saturday with experience in one or more of the following:

    * Tracking FreeBSD-stable with CVS

    * APM under FreeBSD (getting notebook clock restored after
      resume)

    * Running Gnome (on anything)

I've recently acquired a new noname notebook and am having some
adventures with it -- some of my problems stem from my complete
lack of experience with notebooks/laptops; some of them are
likely to be consequences of choosing a non-mainstream piece of
hardware; and some of them are probably plain stupidity.

Anyway, if anybody with experience in any of these areas is
planning to attend, perhaps you could let me know how to hook up
with you.

Greg
