First thing is to identify if this thing is a real Xterm or an NCD machine.  
If it is a real Xterm, then there are other people on this list who actually 
know something and should be able to help.

If it is an NCD, then identify the model.  My NCD experience is limited to 
the Explora & ExploraPro models.  My understanding is that these machines 
require proprietary software installed on a TFTP server on your network that 
acts as a boot device for the NCD.  If the NCD is a ThinSTAR model then there 
is a mini-howto at the following url that may be of some use to you.
