actually in my experiences on both nobody has spoken at all, and if they 
did it wasn't to me. conversation tends not to be on *nix topics, and 
people who join the channel to ask questions aren't received very well. i 
get answers on here faster and more often than i do on the channel. mind u 
it might have changed, i haven't been back in quite some time due to the 
chilly reception.
