Hi Jason. It's tcsh. It's a variable called "rprompt" which takes the
same set of parameters as the "prompt" variable. I have mine set to do
the time as you can see :) Afaik tcsh is the only shell with this feature
(maybe zsh, anyone?)
Here is what I have in my .tcshrc:
set prompt = "%B%m:%~%#%b"
set rprompt = "%B%t%b"
%B is bold on, %t is time, %b is bold off.
The way it deals with long lines is very intelligent. I just gets out of
the way (disappears) if you try to write over that part of the screen and
then is back next time you hit enter. Very neat.
